Once again Long Courses (approx 23-km's) and Short Courses (approximately 10-km's) have been planned for prevailing wind conditions. Race Headquarters will be Takapuna Boating Club this year, which featured as the host venue for the 2017 World Masters Games, which will be the start and/or finish location, and the prize-giving venue.

Vaikobi Naming Rights Sponsor: Having been part of the  sponsorship team for the last 4 years we are thrilled to have Vaikobi back this year, now center stage as event Naming Rights Sponsor! Pat Langley of Vaikobi had the following message:

"Vaikobi is just so excited to be part of this Iconic race yet again and to step up as a major sponsor of the 2018 King and Queen of the Harbour. Ocean Paddling in NZ has so much diversity with strength across all the disciplines- Ski, Waka-Ama, SUP, Prone, Mutlisport and Surf Lifesaving and we are stoked to be able to have the opportunity to be part of this fantastic scene in New Zealand. I look forward to once again being able to join you on the start line on April 21st in Auckland!"
